Who We Are

Tom CorlettLEED® Accredited Professional, is a fourth generation Coloradoan who has spent his life in activities closely related to design. Completing college education at the University of Denver he moved on to a 30-year career as an executive in the winter sports business leading to the creation of an Active Sports Design consultancy in Boulder, Colorado for several years. In 1999 he accepted the position of Special Projects Director at the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation based at Taliesin West in Scottsdale AZ. His responsibilities included managing Intellectual Property, Licensing, Architectural marketing, and Legal liaison. As well as a Principal of SBC, Tom manages TC Associates located in Rye, CO and Estrella Ranch in Arizona, focusing on Design Management and Strategic Planning in Renewable Energy and Sustainability. He is currently involved with several non-profit organizations including the Colorado Renewable Energy Society (CRES) Policy Committee, is on the Board of Directors for the South Eastern Colorado Renewable Energy Society and is a member of the Sustainable Pueblo. In addition he is the Southern Colorado Project Liaison for Solar Village, a New Urbanism organization based in Boulder, CO. tom@sbcgreenteam.com

Paul Huber - Life long resident of Pueblo/Beulah Colorado, graduating from Pueblo Central High School in 1980. He graduated from University of Southern Colorado (CSU- Pueblo) with a degree in bachelors’ civil engineering technology. Paul has spent 10 years managing large scale construction projects in southern Colorado. Five years as a project manager for a leading regional general contractor, and five years as a private project management consultant for a regional hospital. He then started sustainable and natural design-build firm (EcoStruct) in 1998. EcoStruct expanded to include photo voltaic solar design and installation services in 2006 (EcoStruct-EcoSol). Paul recognized the need to help individuals and business incorporate money saving green building practices and co-founded Sustainable Building Concepts (SBC) with partners Craig Eliot and Tom Corlett in 2005.  LLC. paul@sbcgreenteam.com

Tim Oliver – LEED® Green Associate, spent ten years practicing law in Washington state in the State Attorney General’s office and in private practice before moving into the fast paced world of data communications.  He spent 15 years managing the delivery of communication products to global companies.   As the Principal in Oliver & Company that specializes in sustainable energy opportunities, he has spent the last 10 years working with clients on products in the sustainable energy field including hydrogen, alternative fuel for vehicles, anaerobic digestion (energy from organic waste), solar electric (photo-voltaics), wind energy and energy efficient building products. He has been involved with several non-profits working in the field of sustainability including the Southeastern Colorado Renewable Energy Society (SECRES), serving as chair and representative to the state board; Pikes Peak Sustainable Business Network; Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation Sustainability Task Force; 2009 Pikes Peak Quality of Life Indicators Project, Environmental Working group; Southern Colorado Sustainability Conference planning group. Craig EliotOriginally from Seattle, Washington, Craig has lived and worked in Colorado since 1995. Craig’s background is in meteorology and atmospheric science. This includes the study of architectural meteorology, which emphasizes how the weather can help or hinder a buildings performance. Craig is former co-chair of the Southeastern Colorado Renewable Energy Society (SECRES) and a member of the United States Green Building Council. He is a strong proponent of the value and benefits of what he calls‘smart construction'. Craig is also a founding member’s of SBC, and manages the company's marketing and public relations. craig@sbcgreenteam.com
